Rich root - Astragalus
The plant Astragalus membranaceus, which is widespread in the northern hemisphere, is also known as tragacanth or wolfberry. It has been mentioned in various records since ancient times.
We use the root, i.e. the rhizome, of the plant for our Astragalus extract. The extract is obtained by water-ethanol extraction and standardized to a polysaccharide content of 50%. Polysaccharides are complex multiple sugars that can take on important functions.
